Virtual Meter: IAMMETER Cloud Pro Interface for Third-Party Devices

The Virtual Meter is an interface provided by IAMMETER Cloud Pro to support third-party devices. Currently, it primarily serves inverters and energy meters.

By integrating inverter and meter data (such as voltage, current, active power, forward kWh, reverse kWh, power factor, frequency, and reactive power) into IAMMETER-Cloud, users can take advantage of its powerful energy monitoring and management capabilities.

Benefits of Integrating Third-Party Devices with IAMMETER-Cloud

  • Leverage the full functionality of IAMMETER-Cloud
  • Centralized management: No need for separate monitoring platforms for different brands—manage all devices from multiple brands in a single IAMMETER-Cloud platform

Integration Methods for the Virtual Meter

Currently, two main methods are supported:

  • Cloud Bridge: Retrieve data from the cloud platform of a third-party device into IAMMETER-Cloud
  • Push API: A third-party device actively pushes data to IAMMETER-Cloud via the open API of the Virtual Meter
